This was one of the worst math courses I've ever had.. He is very dull to listen to and seems to have the personality of a a door knob. He is not very clear and doesn't really explain anything during what he calls lecture, he just writes on the board, and then makes you go up there and do problems.Once your up there anc confused he is NOT accommodating

When I asked for help he looked at me smiled shrugged his shoulders and walked away. If you want to learn he is not hte teacher to do from. I received A's in all other math courses. He just does not teach well.

great teacher, sometimes he's not as clear as you'd like but I got through finite with an A. I think as long as you do the problems along with him, do the homework and study guides you'll pass with ease. He's readily available to answer questions, overall a great prof..

Stop looking or thinking to take any class with this prof, for he has no idea about how to be a teacher.

If you have some ideas in math and you don't want to loose it please don't take any class with Jim ham because you will loose everything even your money, for you will not pass this class.

Prof. Ham used a free e- textbook! To succeed in his Stats class, do your homework (most important!)& have time outside of scheduled class hrs. for on-campus extra credit work & for examing. Might not work for you if you don't have a lot of extra time outside class. All-in-all a very accommodating & friendly guy, but be prepared to work difficult!

New-ish class that transfers to WMich and EMich. Do ALL of your homework its worth 200pts! 4 exams @ 100 pts each. Grade is based on 600 total points. You can bomb one or two exams and still pass if you do EVERY homework assignment. Not a bad deal. Wasn't the easiest class so use TL/C and his office hours and please do all your HOMEWORK! great luck!

I had an A in 119 took his class and after taking Mr. Ham, luckily I dropped the class early. He is terrible! Didn't really teach us, would do half of the problem he was teaching then leave it for us to solve. If you fail an exam u can redo but you have to redo the bad exam just to "show him" you want to retake the exam.
