Most of her critiques sound like nonsense. She is very unclear with her made up words and courses loaded with personal stories and pauses of "um" and "uh".
Although she may be a great teacher for hands-on art courses, if a class requires any more amount of speech than a paragraph, such as Art History, then you are in for trouble. Her clarity is borderline intolerable, to the point where I have been attempting to total the amount of "um"s and absentminded pauses in her lecture. I lost track.
Took art courses during my whole school career. Learned alot of concepts compared to before and had a high interest. Once completing basic drawing, she made me feel like I wasn't as great compared to other students. Would agree with everyone else in saying she's biased. Also spent alot of money on art supplies, which were only used once.
lots of fun | |
Gina is very knowledgeable about art and though she may sometimes be biased towards art that she finds aesthetically pleasing, she knows a lot about her field. This class was fun, but don't expect it to be an simple A. You have to work for a great grade, so if you're a motivated art student I do recommend this teacher.
prof. Dominique is an fascinating Art teacher. I ended up with B's in all of her courses. I learned a lot from her. She is very knowledgable in Art and Art History which I also had her for. She is not an simple instructor, but as long as you work in her class you will do well. |
