Cast your vote for Delta student senators
Later this month, Delta College will hold a week-long election for student senators.
Voting for student senators begins on March 31 and lasts until April 6 at midnight. Voting is conducted entirely online. The ballots can be found at http://www.delta.edu/student-engagement/studentsenators.aspx.
The three students with the most votes will be student senators for the 2014-15 academic year. The remaining two students will be alternates. They will cast votes at senate meetings when the student senators are unavailable.
For more information, contact Shelly Enriquez at shellyenriquez@delta.edu.
The five candidates are:
Seth McDow, Saginaw, Information Assurance
“I understand the issues, concerns, and viewpoints surrounding the politics of Delta College, making myself more than qualified as a voice of reason for my peers.”
Monica Feltson, Saginaw, Fire Science Technology
“I like to know the inner workings of the college and inform students of Delta’s plans if I were needed to do so.”
Candice Schatz, Vassar, Liberal Arts/Journalism
“I would like to be a Delta College Senator because I am interested in speaking for the majority of people.”
Veronica Martin, Midland, Pre-history
“I should be elected to represent Delta College students because I’m a good leader with a friendly and fun personality.”12
