(possibility of staying on full time in another technician position)*GREAT FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS OR People looking for seasonal workStudying for State certification can begin immediately after hire.4-Day standard work week (leave one day open in case of rain) Additional work days are optional if you are looking for more hours. Typical work day is 8am-430pm with a scheduled lunch break.Good work ethic, good driving record, and punctuality required.-Paid Training in the field-Beginning pay starts at $17-$18 per hour , pay raise after 60 days if quality of work is high.-$300 signing bonus (conditions apply)-End of season bonus based on quality of work and punctuality ($300-$500)-Monthly "Employee of the Month" award and compensation-Commission pay for upselling neighboring properties ($35 minimum compensation) AND new areas with high risk of mosquito and tick problems.-Company sponsored events-Option to upgrade training to full-service residential technician after summer season.-3 PTO Days-Working solo on most jobs - will work with another tech or small groups for larger jobs-Treatment to residential and commercial properties so individuals and families can enjoy the outside without the constant threat of mosquito bitesApplications to foliage, landscaping, tree lines, etc. with a 4-gallon backpack sprayer where mosquito's hide or land throughout the day. Must be able to work outside in the heat. The job is physically demanding. But on days of extreme heat, rescheduling to a shortened day will be done to ensure technician safety.-Company vehicle and gas card provided.-All uniforms provided.-Top of the line equipment-All PPE (personal protective equipment) is provided.-State of Michigan Certification paid for by our company (certification good for 3 years)-Limited interaction (if any) with customers on siteYou must pass 2 state exams (National Core and 7F-Mosquito Control) We provide online and paperback studying materials that will need to be done on your time prior to working in the field. Exams are 50 & 75 questions respectively. 70% is needed to pass. State Certification is valid for 3 years.Working both individually and in small groups. Work days are geographically set up for minimal driving. Jobs are located in Oakland, Wayne, Macomb, and Washtenaw counties.
