Very accommodating; posts notes, stays after class to answer any questions, and always friendly/patient. simple A if you do all the assigned homework.
Very accommodating. Posts class notes online. Went over homework problems before/during class. Homework is effort based and difficulter than exam questions. Gave a practice exam before final to helped students prepare. Can use calculator on all exams. Helps with anything you don't understand. Up to you to study because material is inherently difficult.
This guy is terrible at teaching. He knows the material well, but sucks at explaining it. He's very logically intelligent, but is common sense dumb. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I had him for 119, and 70% of the class dropped. If you want to understand the material and pass, take Nathan Blecke or Tim Allen, because this guy is a JOKE!
great at holding a conversation with students but rushed through sections too fast. Payed more attention to student that understood and were quick to answer questions than slower ones that needed help. H/W was A or F. Doesn't use D2L to post grades.
GREAT prof.! I learned more from him in one semester than I did the entire time I was in school. Showed more than one way to do problems, as long as we could show our work, and got the correct ans then we got the credit. VERY accommodating. I will be taking him for any remaining math that I need for my degree.
Very unaccommodating. Rushes learning, doesn't explain, rough on homework, and gets stuck on his own problems. Highly recommend finding another teacher. STAY AWAY!
I liked him as a teacher and am taking him again next semester. It's such an simple class. Especially if your not a great exam taker because he gives a lot of homework points.
Expect to teach yourself. Answered questions horribly, didn't know subject well enough to teach by far. Very confusing and doesn't show useful examples
Gets off topic frequently, wasting great amounts of class time. Has trouble explaining material in a way that makes sense, and constantly struggles while doing problems on the board.
Terrible prof., at least for the course I was instructed in. He was not well versed in class material and was only able to stumble - slowly no less - through his notes. Low flexibility and ignorance also plague his capacity for teaching; automatic zeros are earned for missing a random quiz day, and you lose ten percent for missing a exam day.
I don't know what is going on below me...but I have Eric right now and he is the most unaccommodating prof. I have ever had. He rushes through his courses so he has time to quiz us. One of his courses consisted of ONE PROBLEM to cover three sections. Don't take him, even for extended hours, it will feel like a spring/summer class. |
