Very friendly person. This class was not well organized. She was difficult to understand. 50% of the class dropped and only a portion of the remaining students got above a B. Her grading was awful (1/16 of a point!?) She did seem to be more lenient of the guys in class. |

Mrs. Pierce is very friendly. My class had a lot of drama in it for some odd reason. She was always stressed about her personal life, but she did care about her student very much. Her exams are very difficult! I studied all the time and still only was able to get a B+ in the class, but I was fine with that. |

TERRIBLE TEACHER, DOUBLE STANDARDS WITH STUDENTS. GRADING SYSTEM IS RIDICULOUS, SHE DOES NOT SIMPLIFY ANYTHING , IN HER CLASS YOU HAVE TO SPEAK AND UNDERSTAND LIKE A DOCTOR OR YOU ARE SCREWED.SHE IS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT HERSELF THAN IF YOU PASS OR FAIL. terrible teacher for such a great section of biology. Obnoxiously difficult grader and review sheets have nothing to do with the exams that are given. Spelling is also a huge part of the class. |

If you're going to take her class, I would not recommend socializing with any of your class mates since it will automatically be assumed that you're cheating off each other. Additionally, her grading system is absurd. I had one of the highest grades in the class at a B. Find someone else, anyone else for Bio 152. |

mrs. pierce is a very friendly person but the class is challenging for those that may have children, a full time job, and other difficult courses. spare time was spent studying. overall i would recommend mrs. pierce to someone who has alot of time to put into the class. very friendly and approachable woman. tried to accomadate everyone's learning style. |

I disliked her class it was so difficult. She gives you a study guide that has nothing to do with the exam. Maybe 10 students stayed after the first few weeks. friendly person willing to help you but teaching still is off. If you want to pass take someone else. |

Mrs. Pierce is an amazing teacher. not to say you dont have to work in her class but she keeps things fascinating & acknowleges every students input and queries.I was scared of taking this class cuz im not scientifically inclined, but she put me at ease and was very approachable and encouraging. Its college not a cakewalk. |

She is very difficult. she gives you the material to study for one day then a quiz. The practicals are so difficult she adds things to it and if she thinks the answer is missing something she gives you a 1/4 OF A GRADE why? just give the full grade.. don't take her if you have a full time job or life. |

Pleasant teacher and very accommodating. However, she crams so much homework on a student that all you ever find yourself doing is homework. Absolutely no time to study and absorb the material. I am currently taking her class Winter Semester 2010. Highly recommended if you don't have a full time job!!!!! |
