The first paper I wrote for him, he gave me a failing grade and told me that it was just a bad paper. This was a wake-up call for me; I was no longer in high school. My high school English teachers would have given me a good grade on the paper that Ronald just gave me a failing grade on. He pushed me and encouraged me to write better -- and I appreciate that. He was a good guy, for the most part. He's funny and deep down, I think he does actually care about his students. However, he can also be a bit of a jerk at times. I didn't have too many issues with him, but he won't hesitate to embarrass kids in front of the entire class. He accused me of doing something I didn't do; I was actually following his directions, but he forgot his own instructions to me from a week ago. As a freshman in college, I didn't have the nerve to defend myself and argue with a college professor. But I was not in the wrong. He was but he'd never admit it. Ronald if you ever read this, I had you as a teacher nearly ten years ago. You're a good guy but you're also human--you're not always right and you might do well to remember that. |

This guy was aweome. Not only was he hillarious and kept your interest, but he really knew the material well. However, if you do not have a sense of humor or like to be babied I would not recommend this class. This class was a wonderful exerience and his critques were incredibly accommodating. |

I took Ron for both 111 and 112. I think that he does a great job teaching both courses and would suggest anyone that needs these courses to take them with him. They are nothing alike, the writing projects are completetly different and he strives for each of his students to do the great they can. |

I took him for 111 and liked him so much, I took him for 112. I ended dropping 112 b/c he taught the same thing as 111. I wish I saved the stupid in class writing projects. I don't know if he was going through something in his personal life, but he really slacked off in 112. I dont recommend taking both semesters with him. Definately 111 though! |

Great teacher, he gives you an essay then when the rough draft is due he will go over it in class with you after he has looked it over and tell you exactly what needs to be fixed. |

Fun class. Ron is definitely a jokester - don't take this class if you get your feelings hurt easily. Or if you're very gullible. (: All in all, I really enjoyed it. Also, this class is often let out early. Just a head's up! |

Ron is a great teacher who knows what he is talking about. He is always willing to help and reviews your papers over and over again with comments. The one on one's after class were very accommodating. I would recommend him to anyone. Especially if english is not your great subject :) |

What a great guy! This was my first semester back to school after 25 years and he is exactly what I needed. Gave me the confidence to continue. He'll push you to do your great and that's what I needed. Hope you can take a joke! |

Must have a colorful sense of humor to be in his class! Great teacher knows his things! Very hillarious and makes class fun. Do your work and attend class simple A. Bit leanent on times but other than that top 10 teacher at delta. |

ron is great for 111. he is hillarious and you learn how to write a great paper, but for 112 DO NOT TAKE!!! you learn all the same things over again write the same papers and if you have him at night be is a jerk |

If you take Ron, you will be able to write a coherent paper for the first time in your life. It may not be simple, but do yourself a favor and try it. You'll be so glad that you did. |
