Shawn is an outstanding teacher. She talks fast, but its about one or two things the whole class so you aren't trying to learn 3 chapters in one day. She gives tons of examples and most of the exam questions are taken from the tests and homework. I am def. taking her again next semester! |

Shawn is the great math teacher i have ever had. Anyone who can't learn from her is a idiot. She explains things well and gives lots of examples for us to do with her, in groups and on our own. She doesn't use the book at all and its optional to buy it or not. She used nothing but online homework. Took some getting used 2 but i liked it at the end. |

Shawni is an amazing teacher! It takes a bit to get used to her teaching style but she does it right. She works through problems on the board, gives you problems to do with her, and problems to do on your own. On top of the daily tests to keep you on track, what more could you ask for in a math teacher? |

Face paced but very accommodating, also very simple to get along with and actually can bring fun to math, she's young and full of energy a different taking on the normal math teacher. All around great teacher |

She has a very friendly personality and friendly but, here teaching style is terrible. She talks very fast, always coming to class late and, rushing thru the lesson then to get out early. If you don't like walking out of class with a Headache every other day. Do not take her class. |

Had Shawn, fall 2009, lasted all of three weeks. Fast paced, I thought I was great in math, well I thought wrong. Me and triangles do not mix..Dropped the class. Love the teacher, she is great. Lots of bad reviews and I didnt see any of that, she was accommodating if I needed. But i just couldnt get it, not her fault, mine. Oh well. We cant all be brains. |

Shawn is a great instructor. Pre-Calc is not an simple subject, but she tries difficult to keep everybody up with everything. tests every classday, but they are not too difficult and help you to keep up with what you're supposed to know. Exams are pretty close to the tests. |

Very difficult class. TAKE TRIG BEFORE! You cover lots of information. You must study before every class. tests daily! However some of the same quiz questions will be on the exams. Shawn is a great teacher, very hillarious and friendly but dont be fooled it's a difficult class! |

She is not very accommodating and continues on expecting you to keep up. She sets you up for failure. You have to be a genius in the subject to pass. She throws insanely difficult problems at you on exams and quizes. |

Don't know what to think of her. I tried to help someone in class and she yelled at me for teaching the guy that needed help a method she did not approve of. The whole class went quiet and I scurried out of the room. She has a fun personality and she will help me; no problem. The online work can be frusterating (fractions only, etc.) |
