Feb. 12 at Wayne, Delta lost 82-70
Darerraul Jackson led the Wayne team with 20 points followed by Shaun Duncan with 17 points. Paul Standtke lead their team in rebounds with 13.
Feb. 15 at St. Clair, Delta won 70-69
Tre Johnson led the game with 33 points. Caleb McIntosh led the Pioneers in rebounds with 9, he was tied with Matthew VanDyk of the St.Clair team. Tre Johnson led in field goals with 13. The only St.Clair player to score any three pointers was Everett Boone scoring 4 for his team.
On the St. Clair side of things Matthew VanDyk led his team with 18 points, followed closely by Marquis Pool with 17 points.
“It was good to win, to prepare for another win, at St.Clair,” assistant coach, Keithen Johnson said.
Feb. 19 at Oakland, Delta lost 75-71
The Delta College Pioneers lost a hard fought road decision to the Oakland Community College Raiders. Caleb McIntosh led the Pioneers with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Chrzan scored 15 points coming off the bench. Tre Johnson scored 12 points but sat out most of the first half with foul trouble. Delta fell to 6-11 in the conference and 11-15 overall.
